Why is Joe driving?

WallBlank.com decided to give away a free print to help celebrate their 1st birthday. But not in a usual manner. From all the orders received the week of their birthday, one was selected to be hand delivered.

Joe departed Rockford, IL on Saturday, Oct. 31st and is headed toward the lucky winner's town, Charleston, SC. He is driving without any navigational aids, instead relying on you to tell him where to stop along the way. Know of a great town, landmark, person, restaurant or anything remotely close to his route that he should check out? Let him know! He'll pay a visit, and then post photos/videos from along the way.

Joe is driving a 1962 Lincoln Continental. It's all original with only 26,000 miles (before the trip).

Sleep is on My Mind…

Another long stretch of highway and interstate has brought me to Athens, Georgia, where the sign on the state line beats you to the punchline of having to say what’s “on your mind” as they immediately thank you for having Georgia already on yours.

It’s been a great trip so far and I’m looking forward to arriving in Charleston to deliver the prints on Thursday. For now though, it’s time to sleep.

I’ll be at Jittery Joe’s for a good chunk of tomorrow morning to fill you in on the last happenings in Nashville and to share the story of a Make Joe Drive fan who caught up to me at a gas/coffee stop.
